To jump, you quickly shift your weight to the balls of your feet, and while in the air, you tap the A or B buttons and lean left and right to grab the board and spin, respectively. A multitude of tricks are available for you to learn, and chaining them together lets you amass more points. As you do tricks, a small little icon shows up on the screen to let you know what you did. For example, if you do a 720-degree turn called a "melon," a little watermelon slice will show up on screen.

If you would rather forego the Balance Board, you can play with just the Wii Remote as well.

Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip features a unique camera system, where you can choose different cameramen and camerawomen to follow you around. Some are better for tricks and others for speed, so be sure to pick the right one, as they'll give you abilities during your ride.

As the cameraperson follows you on your ride, you'll notice different effects, such as image blurs around the edges of the screen to give a sense of speed. The camera will collect snow when you fall, and sometimes the camera will white out after completing a big jump, as the cameraperson has to follow you and do the same moves as well. Tour the World with Shaun White
Road Trip begins with you as a newcomer to the snowboarding scene. Shaun White serves as your mentor, and together you travel the world, tackling mountains and making friends as you work your way up to becoming the world's best snowboarder.

As you win competitions and meet new people, they'll show you new tricks and special abilities that will help you against the competition. You'll have to learn different snowboarding skills as you compete in races down a mountain, half-pipe events, slaloms, rail jams, and more. You can also take a breather and just free ride in the back country at your own pace.

Play With or Against Your Friends
Road Trip doesn't have online multiplayer options, but you can play both competitively and cooperatively with a friend on a split screen. In competitive mode, you and a friend can race to the bottom or try to out-trick each other for the highest score. In cooperative mode, both of you ride down the same slope, and the scores are added together. The entire game can be played cooperatively, so you and a friend can tour the world together and unlock new extras.

Show the Squad What you Are Made Of
The backstory that plays out in All Star Cheer revolves around player's attempts to make the 'Fox Squad' cheer roster. Although a top squad, they have suffered a tough setback when one of their top captains has been sidelined by injury. The show must go on though. Players goal in singleplayer modes is first to make the squad, later progressing up its ranks and finally putting what you've learned to good use as a choreographer.

Singleplayer - Singleplayer action in All Star Cheer Squad comes in two varieties: Quick play and Career Mode. Career Mode on the other hand contains the lion's share of the singleplayer experience as well as the storyline of the game. As players begin this mode they choose the gender and basic customization options of their character like initial attire, facial features, etc. From there they are introduced to the current members of Fox Squad. Considered as an unproven rookie the players must try out and make the squad to gain respect and a spot on the team. If successful more advanced routines and moves as well as unique custom items will be unlocked, which will earn you credibility and provide the opportunity to move up in the hierarchy of the squad, eventually all the way to captain. Quickplay is a standard tutorial mode where players can practice basic and not so basic moves that will come in handy regardless of the player's experience and comfort level with the Wii Remote, Nunchuck and the Wii Balance Board.

Multiplayer - All Star Cheer Squad supports 2-4 players either cooperative or competitive multiplayer. Team up and work together as a unit and the goal is to get the highest overall routine score as a squad by following the on-screen prompts as you face down a bevy of AI supplied competition. As squads progress through the mode, moves routines and their synchronization with music become more and more difficult, complex and frantic. Players who instead choose to go the route of competitive multiplayer face off against friends in a versus mode where not only do they need to follow the in-game prompts, to hope to win in a tight battle they must shoot for perfect execution of moves. String together three perfect moves and your team receives a 'call out." These can be used to add points to your score, trip up the opposing cheer line when their turn comes, protect your own line in this case. Whichever team has the highest score at the end of the game wins.

Three years have passed since the Daein-Crimea war, where the mercenary Ike led the Crimean army to defeat Daein's mad King Ashnard. Both Daein and Crimea are still stabilizing after that war. Daein is ruled by the Begnion occupation forces, after Crimea relinquished rule over their defeated country, and they are oppressed by the imperial soldiers. In the first of the game's four parts, a group of chivalrous thieves, which includes fortune-teller Micaiah, fight Begnion's oppression and attempt to liberate Daein and bring back power to the royal family. The efforts of the Dawn Brigade are the beginning of a much larger conflict. In the next part, Crimea's Queen Elincia fights against conspiring nobles, who plot to overthrow her. The following part sees the Greil mercenaries assist the united Laguz army as they go to war with the Begnion Empire. The consequences of this war can be seen in the fourth and final part, where the Dawn Brigade and the Greil mercenaries join forces to defeat the Begnion senate and the threatening goddess of chaos high above at the Guiding Tower.
